Qatar Airways on Wednesday announced an increase in the number of scheduled flights to Bangkok from three to four a day, effective from February 20 next year.
The additional daily service will take the frequency up to 28 non-stop flights a week, the airline said in a statement.
The carrier added that the increase was in response to growing demand, particularly from key feeder markets across Europe, Middle East, Africa and The Americas.

All flights on the Doha – Bangkok route are operated with a Boeing 777 aircraft.
Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker said the additional flight was possible as more long-haul aircraft join the fleet.
“Our strategy has always been to serve popular routes with multi-frequency flights and Bangkok is an example,” he said.
“Bangkok has proved to be an attractive route for us with increased passenger demand from key markets around the world. Now with the additional capacity being introduced early next year, we will be able to offer passengers more choice when deciding to plan their holidays or business trips.”
Qatar Airways currently flies to 122 destinations across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and The Americas.
Qatar Airways plans to launch a number of new routes in early 2013, including Gassim, Saudi Arabia (January 7), Najaf, Iraq (January 23), Phnom Penh, Cambodia (February 20), Chengdu, China (March 19), Chicago, USA (April 10), and Salalah, Oman (May 22).
