Secretary general of Qatar Red Crescent Saleh Al-Mahanadi and Ritz-Carlton, Doha general manager Hoss Vetry celebrate their official partnership.
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Doha has become the official hospitality partner of Qatar Red Crescent, to increase community awareness of local humanitarian initiatives.
As part of the agreement, the Ritz-Carlton, Doha will become an official host of Qatar Red Crescent's 2013 annual events and activities.
These are planned to include workshops and awareness sessions on international humanitarian law, basic and advanced first aid accredited training and opportunities for involvement in various community-centred activities.

“The Ritz-Carlton, Doha believes that we should be aligned with the noble cause of Qatar Red Crescent and give back to the community which we are part of. We have been working on numerous good-cause initiatives with Qatar Red Crescent, and it is an honour for us to be a partner of such a reputable international organisation,” said Hoss Vetry, cluster general manager, Ritz-Carlton, Doha and Sharq Village and Spa.
In addition to its partnership with Qatar Red Crescent, the Ritz-Carlton, Doha organises a “Community Footprints" programme focused on hunger and poverty relief, the well-being of children and environmental conservation.
