The first Taste of Peru Festival will be a weekend long celebration of Peruvian gastronomy and entertainment running from February 28 until March 2 at the Souk Amphitheatre in Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai.
Food huts offering classic Peruvian dishes such as seafood ceviche and tiradito, beef anticucho, vegetarian causa and quinoa salad, along with Peruvian juices and the renowned national grape cocktail will all be available for guests to enjoy.
Hosted by Dubai’s Madinat Jumeirah and organised by the Consulate General and the Trade & Investment Office of Peru in Dubai, the first Taste of Peru Festival will include guest appearance from Peruvian chef Christian Bravo as well as live performances by Peru Andino, a prominent group of Peruvian musicians coming to Dubai for the event.
Peruvian cuisine is traditionally a melting pot of different cultures, flavours and techniques which stems from the arrival of European and Asian immigrants to Peru centuries ago. Ingredients and customs intertwined over the decades creating what is now one of the fastest growing gastronomic movements today.
