Al Ain Rotana will open a new wing in May, adding 48 luxurious chalets, swimming pool, Zen the Spa at Rotana and a terrace to the five-star property.
General manager Ayman Gharib said the extension was a response to growing demand: “Throughout the past few years we have seen a big demand towards the chalets, apartments and villas products and responding to market and the guests demands we have taken the decision to extend the hotel with this new type to units”.
Each chalet has four one-bedroom apartments and eight studios. They can also be combined to form two-bedroom apartments with underground parking.

The spa comprises four treatment rooms separate for male and female, one couple’s room, saunas, steam rooms and a set of plunge pools.
The leading guest market for the Al Ain Rotana, which opened in 1999, is the UAE, followed by the GCC, Europe and the US.
“We have set a great and aggressive plan to approach the market during 2013. This plan would guarantee an increment of market share for this year,” Gharib told Hotelier.
“We have started the year with excellent performance and it looks great for the next six months, adding to that the new Falaj wing opening soon will definitely help us keep the hotel on a great run.”
