France-based Danube International is showcasing a range of new laundry equipment solutions at the Gulfood 2013 exhibition.
Danube's new range of 33 KG barrier washers is designed for an excellent mechanical action to ensure high-quality washing results. The design of the drum and basket has been optimised in order to use the least possible water.
With less water to heat and high water removal, drying the linen is faster and uses less energy, according to the company.

Danube barrier washers are equipped with frequency-controlled motors which offer the most accurate flexibility in order to save energy.
Another energy-efficient solution from Danube is the new flatwork dryer ironer, DII, with stainless steel chassis and panels.
"Customers are looking for efficiency in all aspects including quality ranging from the way that table clothes, napkins, sheets are ironed to machine maintenance," said a spokesperson.
"Feeding table has to cope with different material, thick or not, cotton or polyester. The DII has a high evaporation rate providing a high productivity and an excellent standard quality."
The DII is said to be the only flatwork dryer ironer with stainless steel framework.
