Dubai-based Technical Chemical Laboratories (TCL) has launched its new ‘Citro System’ for sanitation in kitchens, at Gulfood 2013, taking place from February 25-28 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
The Citro System is designed for use with the company’s Citro Mix products, made from natural lemon oil.
“We are treating this lemon oil, in different ways to come up with different products. Treating this lemon is a major breakthrough in the manufacture of sanitation and hygiene products,” said a company spokesperson.

"The natural products eliminate the risk of chemical irritations to their users and are more cost-effective than many kitchen sanitation products."
All products are produced in concentrated form. The citro system ensures the cost of using the products is kept to a minimum, while maintaining optimum hygiene standards.
The Citro Mix range includes:
Citro Clean, an all-purpose Cleaner
Citro Gel, a degreaser for ovens and grills
Citro Lime, to remove scales and lime on various kitchen equipment
Citro Bac, a multipurpose sanitizer for different areas including food preparation areas, floors, refrigerators etc.
