France-based operator Golden Tulip has signed a management contract to operate its fourth hotel in Lebanon.
The five-star Golden Tulip Jiyeh Marina Resort is currently under construction, due to open in May, 2013.
The 152-key resort forms part of the largest hospitality development on the Jiyeh shores, and can accommodate up to 3500 people for large events such as weddings.

Facilities include a spa, yacht marina facilities and a sea food restaurant Al Moj, as well as Captain M and Sparks restaurants which open during the summer season from May to October.
”The hotel alone cost around $38 million and the overall project’s cost reached over $113 million, we are very optimistic about the coming year and we are expecting results,” said owner Mohamad Saleh.
“I am pleased to be associated today with a leading hotel chain, not only in Lebanon and the region, but also worldwide as to the latest technology and knowhow of providing a welcoming atmosphere to our property with their expertise in operating hotels & resorts in the region," he added.

Other property's in the operator's Lebanon portfolio include Golden tulip Hotel De ville in Sodeco, Golden Tulip Serenada Hamra and Golden Tulip Galleria in Jnah.
Golden Tulip currently operates 70 hotels in the MENA region, and 230 hotels worldwide, spanning 43 countries.
