The fourth annual Qatar Food Festival will be held at the Museum of Islamic Art Park from March 28-31.

The five day event, organised by Qatar Tourism Authority and Qatar Airways, carries two main themes this year: healthy food and healthy lifestyle. It will also focus on the Qatari UK Year of Culture by highlighting dishes from both the UK and Qatar.

HE Eng Issa Al-Mohannadi, chairman of QTA, commented: “We at QTA, are honoured with the partnership with Qatar Airways, as we consider QA a key partner in promoting Qatar as an upscale touristic destination. This year the Festival showcases excellent quality food from some of the world’s best hotel and restaurant brands that have established outlets in Qatar, confirming its growing reputation as an international gourmet capital, that appeals to tourists from anywhere in the world.”

The Healthy Food Zone will be dedicated entirely to healthy food. Dishes will include raw foods, salads, vegetables, fruits, steamed cooked seafood and meats accompanied by fresh juices and teas – all of which support the key message of the food festival – eat healthy food, adopt a healthy lifestyle and stay fit.
