The Marina Hotel Kuwait has appointed Elsa Lahoude as the new director of rooms, responsible for the front office, back office, transportation, housekeeping, laundry and uniform departments.

Having been in the hospitality sector for more than 15 years, Lahoude started her career in 1996 at the Hotel Noga Hilton in Cannes and has since worked with companies such as Starwood Hotels & Resorts, The Dorchester Group, Leading Hotels and Marriott.

Lahoude moves to the Marina Hotel from her director of rooms role at Rezidor's Hotel Missoni Kuwait where she was a part of the pre-opening team.

Speaking on Lahoude’s appointment Marina Hotel Kuwait general manager Nabil Hammoud said: “Elsa has proven to be highly passionate about the luxury hotel industry and her 15 plus years of experience will certainly make her an asset to the hotel. We are confident Elsa’s remarkable leadership and management skills will continue to reaffirm Marina Hotel’s position as one of the leading hotels in Kuwait.”

Originating from Lebanon, Lahoude holds a Master Degree in Strategic Tourism & Hospitality from Institute of Research and Higher Studies in Tourism (IREST) – Pantheon-Sorbonne University- France.

The Marina Hotel Kuwait is a five-star property owned by United Real Estate Company and managed by the Safir International Hotel Management Company. It offers 91 guest rooms, meeting room facilities, fully equipped health club amenities, two restaurants and a private beach.
