Hilton Worldwide has announced the appointment of Christian Grage as vice president operations for the Arabian Peninsula.

Grage, formerly vice president of operations for Hilton Worldwide’s Egypt and Levant region, brings over 25 years of hospitality management experience to the role.

Based at the company’s Dubai area office, Grage will be responsible for regional strategy development as well as overseeing all operational matters for 13 hotels across the GCC including UAE, Oman, Kuwait and Qatar.

A graduate of the Swiss Hotel Association, Grage, a German national, has a hospitality career which spans six countries and four continents. He is also a founder member of La Chaine des Rotisseurs in Czech Republic, a global organisation in international gastronomy.

Commenting on Grage’s appointment Rudi Jagersbacher, president, Hilton Worldwide Middle East & Africa said: “The Arabian Peninsula region covers key Middle East growth markets.

“Across UAE and Qatar, in particular, Hilton Worldwide will double its presence within three years and it’s crucial we have someone of Christian’s talent, quality and experience to lead such an important area for us.”
