Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort celebrated the success of its beverage programme, the Sheraton Social Hour, with a 24-hour ‘toast around the world’ on May 15.
The Social Hour is a weekly wine tasting program that takes place three days a week at Sheraton properties around the world, including the Moods Bar at Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort.
The event kicked off in Asia at the Sheraton Hong Kong and Sheraton Shanghai, with celebratory toasts passed virtually around properties including the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort. The event concluded once the toasts reached the Sheraton New York Times Square and the Sheraton Waikiki.

“Following tremendous early success, we are proud to offer our guests at all Sheraton Hotels around the world the opportunity to experience our signature beverage programme,” said Dany Dagher, general manager of the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort.
“As the ‘world’s gathering place’ we are continuously looking for ways to elevate our guest experiences with new social interactions and believe Social Hour to be a great programme for both business and leisure guests.”
The Social Hour concept was rolled out at 430 Sheraton Hotels around the world prior to the celebration.
