Emirates Leisure Retail has announced a fresh start for Left Bank Abu Dhabi with the appointment of a new outlet manager, a partnership with Decadent Entertainment and a string of new F&B promotions.
The outlet, situated centrally in the Between the Bridges area of Abu Dhabi in Souk Qaryat Al Beri, appointed Gary Digby in March of this year.
Digby has experience of working in TGI Fridays Leicester Square, London, and his last position was as an area manager overseeing 10 hospitality sites across the UK and France. He has also freelanced as a trouble shooter for bars and restaurants.
Since his appointment, Digby has launched a series of promotions including the introduction of a daily happy hour from 5pm till 9pm (4pm till 9pm post-brunch on Fridays), where patrons receive 50% discount on all food and beverage.
Digby has also considered the entertainment aspect of the bar, negotiating a strategic partnership with Decadent Entertainment, who have been hosting popular nights including Urban Education, RetroFlect and Recession in Abu Dhabi for over four years.

The daily events and their respective music styles are getting a complete makeover as well, with the launch of new theme nights such as Industry Night on Mondays, where everyone in the hospitality industry gets 50% off all day, Sway Ladies Night on Wednesdays with new DJ Darryl Lees playing a mix of pop, RnB, house and classics, and Ladies Soul Sundays with both nights seeing the return of the ‘5 cocktails for 5 dirhams’ promotion.

Left Bank’s new events start on 2nd June, and Decadent Entertainment launches RetroFlect on Thursday 6th June, and Urban Education on Friday 7th June.
