Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman celebrated World Environment Day by organising a series of activities to raise awareness about conservation and environment protection among staff, guests and students.
Guests were given a tour of the hotel’s urban farm and compost machine room, which were converted from the property’s parking area last year.
Students from selected schools in the emirate were also invited for similar tours in order to instill green practices at an early age.

The hotel hosted workshops to educate staff about water and energy conservation and encouraged the use of eco-friendly bags and ceramic tableware instead of plastics and disposable cups and utensils.
Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman general manager Iftikhar Hamdani said: “The World Environment Day is an important occasion for us as our organization is actively involved in various green initiatives. We will continue to carry out simple yet innovative ways to preserve our environment, and impart this message across all levels.”
