"We are now getting a flurry of inquiries from all over the Middle-East; however it is about having a substantial experience in the F&B industry that really matters the most," he added.

To further its expansion plans, the company has partnered with regional franchising consultant FRANCORPME, a subsidiary of the US-based Francorp, Inc., to assist with a franchise program development which includes a structure report, legal documents, franchise operations manual and a comprehensive marketing plan.

800PIZZA was started by D’Ubaldo in 2006 in Dubai and subsequently led to a corporate partnership with Belhasa Hospitality in 2010 which led to four additional branches in the Dubai Marina, Downtown Dubai, Motor City, and Ibn Battuta Mall.

The business has also recently expanded its total team in excess of 150 staff.

"With our brand new Dubai head quarter hosting our offices, a cold store, a dry store, a call centre, a training facility and our central production kitchen we are finally in a position to provide the needed administrative and operational support to more outlets, hence this initiative of expanding into the franchising operations," he adds.
