Wyndham Hotel Group has revealed plans for the introduction of its TRYP by Wyndham hotel brand in the Middle East, following the signing of a management agreement with Omega I, a subsidiary of British-owned developer The First Group.

The four-star 672-room TRYP by Wyndham Dubai is currently planned to be the largest TRYP by Wyndham in the world when it opens in late 2016. Located in the city’s TECOM district, the news follows Wyndham’s announcement earlier this year of plans to bring its upscale Wyndham Hotels and Resorts brand to the UAE with a property in Dubai Marina within the next three years.

Wyndham Hotel Group senior vice president and managing director for EMEA Rui Barro said: “With such a diverse portfolio of brands, Wyndham Hotel Group offers a unique breadth of choice and the benefits of Wyndham Rewards, the world’s largest hotel loyalty programme by number of participating hotels. We are thrilled to deliver these hotels through strong partnerships with companies such as The First Group, which share our ambition and passion for creating great guest experiences for business and leisure travellers around the world.”
