PARASOL
Parasol was established in the UAE in 2006 to cater to the outdoor furniture needs of the market, and eventually set up its own indoor and outdoor furniture brand, Voglia. The company’s B2B side in particular has gained momentum over the past six months and Parasol has signed several new contracts in recent months.
The company’s outdoor furniture range has been particularly successful and since Parasol stocks substantial quantities of outdoor furniture, it is also able to rent certain pieces to hotels during the peak season — in 2013, it rented sun loungers and umbrellas to at least five properties during full occupancy.

Parasol recently released Danish furniture brand Bolia to the local market. With the partnership with Bolia, Parasol will be able to offer hotels a wider variety of indoor furniture and accessories as well.
