Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi has reopened the last of the refurbished rooms in the hotel’s deluxe tower, as well as unveiling a remodeled lobby and two redesigned restaurants.

Work began on the tower in 2011 and the refurbishments were completed in three phases - phase one was launched in 2011 with five floors, phase two was completed in 2012 with 8 floors, and the completion of phase three on October 1 marked the complete revamp of all 25 floors of the tower.

All rooms feature a complete redesign with new fittings and furnishings, a media hub, high speed internet, modern gadgets and four-piece bathrooms.

The hotel will also launch The Hub, the hotel’s renovated lobby that features floor to ceiling book shelves and a curated collection of artwork including two giant statues shaped like two humans conversing with each other.

The hotel’s two new F&B outlets are the artisan bakery and bistro Wheat, offering healthy eating and take-away menu options, as well as the Cafe Palmier all day dining restaurant.

Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi general manager Shaun Parsons said: “We fully understand the importance of outstanding food and beverage to our business, especially in the Middle East, which is why we are introducing new culinary offerings at the hotel while at the same time revamping our existing restaurants to engage guests and local residents with exciting and diverse dining experiences.”
