A shocking video has emerged showing a terrifying gunfight between rival gangs at the hotel England’s football team will use in the football World Cup in Rio next year.
A woman was killed and staff and guests were taken hostage as the turf war played out at the Rio InterContinental, now called the Royal Tulip hotel.
Footage obtained by the Sunday Mirror shows security footage and mobile camera clips of the confrontation that took place three years ago.

While England’s FA said they were aware of the event and assured it was a one off, the footage has done little to allay fears surrounding security at the World Cup next year.
In the video, armed men wearing bullet-proof vests and carrying semi-automatic weapons can be seen storming the hotel foyer.
One innocent bystander was killed and two police officers were hurt in the incident in August 2010.
