Wael El Behi has joined the team at Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham as the general manager ahead of its opening.
EL Behi’s main task will be to oversee the smooth opening of the first Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham hotel and welcome guests to the 25-storey, 188-room hotel when it opens.
A Tunisian national, El Behi has more than 20 years’ experience in hospitality management, sales and marketing.
Prior to this appointment, El Behi was General Manager of Ramada Downtown Dubai, a position he held for more than two years.

He previously worked as executive assistant manager of Coral Deira Dubai, general manager of Coral Boutique Villas and regional director of sales & marketing. He also joined Suha Hotel Apartments in Jumeirah Beach Residence as general manager and was with Auris Hotel Management as director business development.
Commenting on his appointment, El Behi said: “Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham in JBR will open in two phases. We will have shortly our soft opening and our grand opening will happen very soon. As the General Manager of Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham my main task is to oversee the full operation of the hotel.”
“The challenge for me and my team is to get ready for operation in a very short period of four months, I am confident that we will achieve our goal because we have a good brand, a prime location and the great value for money.
