Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Development and Investment Company has appointed Belevari Marine to operate the new 30-berth Marina at the Eastern Mangroves complex.

The Eastern Mangroves Marina can accommodate house boats and yachts ranging from eight to 33 metres in length and is the latest addition to the complex, which includes residential, hospitality and leisure facilities.

The new boutique style marina includes 24-hour security, trolley services, golf buggy services, electricity and water connections, battery charging services, and mooring assistance.

TDIC executive director of marketing, communications, sales and leasing Ahmed Al Fahim said: “We anticipate our marinas to enjoy high demand by boat owners especially at the newly open Eastern Mangroves Marina which stretches along The Promenade, a souk-type retail avenue that will start to attract visitors and residents with the opening of its restaurants and dining venues.”

Belevari Marine chief executive officer Captain Berend Lens van Rijn said: “We have already started to receive requests for registrations at the Eastern Mangroves and anticipate the marina to add more life to the promenade especially as new restaurants start to open.”

The Eastern Mangroves complex consists of the 50-apartment Eastern Mangroves Residences, the 77-apartment Eastern Mangroves Promenade, the 88-apartment Eastern Mangroves Suites by Jannah Hotels & Resorts, and the 222-room five-star Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa by Anantara as well as the Promenade.
