Jumeirah Group business management school, the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM), has won the bid to host the 32nd EuroCHRIE Conference this year.

Scheduled to take place from 6–9 October, the event is themed ‘hospitality and tourism futures’ and will discuss how the industry has changed as well as future opportunities and challenges for hospitality education.

EuroCHRIE conference chair John Fong commented: "EAHM is proud to be hosting the EuroCHRIE Conference for the second time in six years. The Conference theme of "Hospitality and Tourism Futures" promises to bring together distinguished academics and industry professionals so as to explore and exchange ideas of what to expect from the various stakeholders of our industry. The conference location of Dubai further adds to the excitement and hence we are expecting attendance from a large number of international delegates."

The European Council of Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Education (EuroCHRIE) is the official federation for Europe, the Mediterranean Basin and Africa of CHRIE — an international organisation that supports training for the hospitality and tourism industry.

The annual conference is a signature event of EuroCHRIE and EAHM is honoured to have been chosen to host for the second time in six years.
