The luxury Grand Millennium Dubai has announced the completion of the refurbishment of its apartment tower.

The project included a full revamp of 81 one-bedroom, 35 two-bedroom and 20 studio apartments, the hotel said in a statement.

Giving details of the project, Peter Mansourian, general manager, Grand Millennium Dubai, said: "We have got an excellent quality of serviced apartments and are truly pleased with the outcome of the project.

"Our objective is to always offer the best in terms of comfort and value to our guests and are confident that they will appreciate and enjoy the improved facilities. There has been tremendous enhancement in terms of soft furnishings including carpets, curtains, upholstery, etc.

"In addition we have also made upgrades in technology and connectivity."

Once the domain of business travellers, serviced apartments now considered an alternative to hotels, ideal for both short and long-term guests and are often preferred by GCC travelers.

Located just off the Sheikh Zayed Road, the Grand Millennium is a 343-room five star hotel and features a range of restaurants and bars, a rooftop pool, spa and health club with nine treatment rooms, meeting rooms, a ballroom and banquet facilities.

In addition to the latest addition at the Grand Millennium Dubai, the Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai also recently opened 21 new and refurbished suites as part of the hotel’s ongoing expansion programme.
