Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London has opened its reservation lines for rooms, events and T?ng – the signature restaurant and lounge on level 35.
The UK’s first Shangri-La hotel, and the second in Europe will feature London’s highest champagne and cocktail bar, Gong, on level 52 and will open its doors on 6 May.

Opening rates at the hotel will start from £450 (AED 2747) per room per night, including VAT. The hotel will feature three food and beverage destinations: G?ng, T?ng, serving locally sourced produce with a hint of Asian flavours, and authentic Asian specialities and two unique afternoon teas in the lounge; and Láng, the patisserie and artisan deli on the ground floor.
Level 52 will also be home to a 24-hour gym and London’s highest infinity pool and, together with G?ng, will open in July 2014.
Three river-facing event spaces on level 34 will offer views from 125 metres above the city. The largest of the venues, Ren, will accommodate up to 140 guests; the other two, Yi and Li, will be able to hold up to 10 and 35 guests, respectively.
The entire level 34 may also be requested for a standing reception of up to 200 guests. The grand staircase connecting levels 34 and 35 will have a vista of St Paul’s Cathedral and beyond.
