InterContinental Hotels Group has appointed Jayne O’Brien as senior vice president of global brands, effective March 24, 2014.
In her new role, O’Brien will be responsible for overseeing brand vision and strategy across IHG’s global portfolio of nine brands.
Prior to joining IHG, O’Brien served as chief marketing officer for Dubai Properties Group, where she was responsible for all group marketing, including brand management, public relations, and customer relations.
She also spent 18 years with British Airways, where she served in a number of senior brand marketing and commercial roles, and was the chief marketing officer at the Regus Group.

Commenting on her appointment, IHG chief commercial officer Keith Barr said: “We are thrilled to welcome Jayne to the IHG family.
