Rivolta Carmignani was founded in 1867 with the aim of offering high quality and stylish Italian bed, bath and table linens to hotels and restaurants around the world.

The company’s headquarters, in Macherio a few kilometres from Milan, Italy, includes departments for design, warping, weaving, quality control, bleaching, finishing, cutting and hemming, embroidery, and packaging. The production cycle is therefore completely vertical from the thread to the finished product and is under the expert supervision of Aldo and Matteo Rivolta.

For customers who want exclusive designs, Rivolta Carmignani makes its own Atelier available to work with the client’s chief designer to create a new concept for the project, from the thread to the textures, to interwoven or embroidered custom-tailoring, and various finishing possibilities.

“In our opinion, the main challenge for hoteliers when it comes to beds and beddings is to choose a bed linen set that makes the hotel stand out with respect to the majority of hotels, while granting great value for money and the easiest possible commercial laundering and maintenance,” says Rivolta Carmignani managing director Matteo Rivolta.

To this end, Rivolta Carmignani also provides complete assistance throughout the entire process of linen selection. The company has also launched a new range of sateen products with 400 and 600 thread count and twisted yarns.
