According to Northern Feather executive account manager Asia Pacific Middle East Jennifer Ferris,increasing numbers of hotels are offering a pillow menu to guests to offer more flexibility and comfort.

Another area of awareness is the focus on the potential consequences for guests with allergies. In the past that would have made sleeping on 100% down or a down/feather pillows impossible.

However, Northern Feather’s innovative NF5 washing and conditioning system ensures all the down and feather used in the products have no residue, dirt or dust. The difference is a hypoallergenic down and feather product that features maximum comfort and efficient warming.

This makes the resulting feather and down hypoallergenic and therefore suitable for hotel guests that suffer from common allergies.

“Our appeal to brands such as these is that as manufacturers we control every aspect of production, from the sourcing of raw materials, to the stitching of the law labels and packaging. It also allows for us to customise the pillows, duvets and sleep pads to the particular hotels specifications, both in fill type and mix, and product sizing,” explains Ferris.
