Jumeirah Group is to exhibit at the Careers UAE 2014 fair to promote the hotel company to the UAE’s National high school graduates.

Now in its 14th year, the fair is a recruitment, education and training event offered exclusively for UAE Nationals. During the three-day event, Jumeirah’s National Development Team, alongside its Recruitment Team, will hold on-the-spot interviews with potential candidates.

Jumeirah National colleagues from finance, marketing and HR will be present to speak to prospective candidates and share their experiences. Emirati Chef Musabbeh will attend and interact with the candidates on day one. The event takes place from April 22-24 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

The company’s head of national development and Emiratisation Ahmad Mohamed Al Kaitoob said: “Jumeirah is committed to Emiratisation and our participation at Careers UAE 2014 will help us to reach out to top home grown talent.

“As an international hospitality group, which has been established and is based in the UAE, we believe in building a strong foundation in the hospitality industry and driving innovation in the hotel industry with world-class talent. We are looking to hire more UAE Nationals who are seeking to start a career in hospitality with a fast-growing and dynamic company.”

Successful candidates will have the chance to join the one year training programme where they will receive training and guidance from senior Jumeirah managers. The first three months would include two days a week at the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, to learn key business skills and three days a week working in the hotels’ operational and commercial departments.

The Jumeirah National Youth Programme is aimed at developing Jumeirah’s next generation of business leaders and was designed to give motivated UAE National high school graduates the opportunity to work with Jumeirah in an international environment.

Graduates who join the programme must be under the age of 21 with less than two years of experience. On completion of the programme, they will be guaranteed a job within Jumeirah Group.
