Hawthorn Suites has partnered with Dubai Centre for Special Needs (DCSN) as a sponsor at the Family Fun Fair to raise money for the institution.
The event, organised by DCSN, featured activities such as games, magic shows, and bouncy castles for children. It took place on March 28.
Commenting on the hotel’s participation at the fair, Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham general manager Wael El Behi said: “We at Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham were privileged to be one of the partners for Family Fun Fair, which gave us an opportunity to show our support to the centre.
"We highly applaud DCSN for undertaking commendable work to give children with special needs and their families the opportunity to have fun and spend quality time together. ”
The Dubai Centre for Special Needs is non-profit institution that provides specialised education and therapy for children with various disabilities.
In December, Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, in partnership with Mall of the Emirates, raised AED87,990 (US $24,000) for DCSN by selling a record 600m of stollen cake in less than 12 hours.
