Hilton Worldwide has signed a management deal with Majid Al Futtaim Properties for a new Hilton Garden Inn to be developed adjacent to Mall of the Emirates in Dubai.

This is in addition to the current brand pipeline in Dubai of Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Al Mina and Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Al Muraqabat.

In an interview with Hotelier Middle East, Carlos Khneisser, vice president development, Middle East said: “Hilton Garden Inn brand is set to debut in the UAE – we’ve signed two Garden Inn hotels in Dubai and we opened our first double tree by Hilton in Al Barsha and we’re aligning our vision with the government considering they’re focusing on developing 3 and 4 star brand so our interest right now it to work on expanding our Hilton Garden Inn and our Doubletree.”

Adrian Kurre, global head, Hilton Garden Inn said: “Hilton Garden Inn Mall of the Emirates, Dubai is an inspiring addition to our growing UAE hotel collection and will perfectly complement the brand pipeline of Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Al Mina and Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Al Muraqabat, which are both expected to open in the Emirate in 2015. The brand is growing a strong portfolio of fine hotels in the Middle East with a reputation for combining award-winning quality hospitality and innovation with a truly rewarding guest experience at an affordable price point.”

Additionally, the first Hilton Garden Inn in Qatar is due to open in Doha in Q1 2015 and Hilton is expanding the brand throughout Saudi Arabia as well with an opening in Tabuk at the end of this year.

Hilton Worldwide currently has 48 pipeline management deals in the Middle East.
