Centro Sharjah by Rotana is once again supporting Manzil, a centre for children with special needs, with two students set to participate in its Summer Training Programme.

The corporate social responsibility initiative will see the students trained in different departments of the hotel, including finance, events, marketing and F&B, for four hours once a week during the summer.

With the workforce of approximately 160 colleagues in the hotel, the intensive training that will be given to the students with special needs of Manzil Centre aims to empower them, help them understand their values and learn to work independently. The students will be provided with the insights of the operation of the hotel and its ethos.

“Centro Sharjah is committed to creating a positive impact to our community where every person can achieve their full potential, even for people with special needs,” said Centro Sharjah general manager Michael Kasch.

“The introduction of these training sessions gives the students a chance to show their expertise and being special is not an obstacle to reach their dreams.”
