JAS Group has opened Fümé at the Pier 7 tower in the Dubai Marina neighbourhood.
The 140-seat restaurant has been designed as a neighbourhood eatery with rustic beams and barrel floors.
Fümé’s ‘360-degree menu’ features dishes from around the world and mixes European flavours with those from North and South-East Asia. The restaurant also smokes its meat and seafood onsite with coconut husks being used in place of coal.

Fümé operations manager Angelo Rosato explained: “Food nostalgia plays a huge role in our menu; we wanted to create a friendly, homely atmosphere with a modern twist. With a 360º menu, which invites tastes from around the world, cooked with passion and different styles all on your doorstep, we aimed for something that was accessible to everyone, offering rich and robust flavours.”
The outlet also features a seafood and salad bar, desert and coffee station, and vintage styled signs and boxes as part of its interior decoration.
“Our emphasis is on social interaction, with sharing dishes being one of our many highlights. Our key aim is to create customer loyalty based on value for money. This is not just a ‘special’ night out; it’s an ‘every night out’ restaurant,” added Rosato.
