Hotels in the Hilton Worldwide network across the GCC have been taking part in the company’s global careers initiative, showcasing the opportunities available to young people.

Throughout this month, hotels in the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman have been participating in Careers@Hilton Live: Youth In Hospitality Month, a series of events designed to inform and excite young people looking for employment and to highlight the valuable long-term job prospects and considerable opportunities that are available in the industry.

It is part of Bright Blue Futures, a global program that encourages team members to donate their time and expertise to help young people achieve stability and prepare them for a brighter future.

In the GCC, hotels in seven locations took part in the initiative with a range of local community activity, including:

- A career day at Hilton Abu Dhabi where college students enjoyed discussions with key hotel representatives, who provided insights into the world of hospitality;

- Across the city, students from the European International College for Management were invited to Hilton Capital Grand Abu Dhabi to learn first-hand from industry professionals. Students were also offered the opportunity to shadow top chefs in the hotel’s kitchen for a day;
