Deepak Dahiya has been appointed as director of sales & marketing at The Ajman Palace Hotel & Resort, managed by Hospitality Management Holdings (HMH).

Dahiya, tasked with driving new business into the Ajman Palace, joins the hotel from the Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa where he held the post of director of sales & marketing.

Previously, Dahiya had a five-year stint with the Gold Swiss Belhotel Dubai where he headed sales and marketing for the hotel’s after which he oversaw the rebranding of the hotel to the Mercure Gold Hotel, Dubai.

An Indian national, Deepak gained a Professional Diploma in Hotel Management from the New Delhi Institute of Hotel Management before going on to secure a BA and then Masters in Business Administration.

In addition, he gained a number of certificates from prestigious institutes such as Cornell University: School of Hotel Administration and Princeton Global Network, USA among others.

Deepak began his career in the hospitality sector at the Sofitel Surya before joining the Holiday Inn Bangalore where he honed his sales and marketing skills.

He moved to Dubai in 1999, where he gained experience at Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Habtoor Hospitality.

The Ajman Palace has 254 rooms, suites and serviced residences, as well as a variety of F&B outlets, a 1,200 sq metre grand ballroom, a conference hall, four meeting rooms, and a VIP function area.
