Luxury hotel and resort operator Kerzner International has expanded the role of its senior vice president, international sales & marketing Brett Armitage so that he now has responsibility for Europe, CIS, and The Americas, in addition to Africa and the Middle East.
Armitage was previously senior vice president, sales of Atlantis, The Palm, where he established the sales platform and sales structure for the destination resort. He has also held roles with InterContinental Hotels Group and the Jumeirah Group.
He is now responsible for the strategic direction, deployment and productivity in the markets he covers, as well as developing joint sales and marketing initiatives for the Kerzner properties.
Meanwhile, Kerzner International also promoted Jean Joseph to vice president sales and marketing, UK and Ireland. She will be responsible for all sales and field marketing activity in this key market for Kerzner, as well as the overall management of the UK Sales Office based in London.
