Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman won its second Wyndham Green Award during the recent Wyndham Hotel Group EMEA Summit in Berlin, Germany.
The award recognised the hotel’s green initiatives and sustainable practices in the hospitality sector, and was presented to general manager Iftikhar Hamdani at the event.
Commenting on the win, Hamdani said: “The property once again beams with pride as we accept our second Wyndham Green Award. I would like to commend the team for their continuous support and dedication in all our projects.
"We thank Wyndham Hotel Group for acknowledging our efforts and rest assured that we will continue with our initiatives towards a green and sustainable environment.”

Ramada Ajman received its first Wyndham Green Award at the group's global conference in Las Vegas in 2013. The property was also nominated as Best Green Hotel during the Wyndham Group Hotel EMEA Awards in London in 2012.
Among the hotel’s environmental projects is the zero landfill waste management scheme and onsite urban farm. The hotel is also hosts regular activities such as beach clean-up drives, and participates in events such as Earth Hour, World Environment Day, and the UAE Green Festival.
