The countdown clock is ticking louder than ever in the Hotelier Middle East office as the biggest and most widely read edition of the year closes in on press day.

The Hotelier Middle East Power 50, which identifies the most influential 50 individuals in the region’s hospitality industry, has been finalised by the editorial team and is now making its way to the printers before readers digest and debate the list for months to come.

Not far behind is the 50 Suppliers You Should Know special report, which gives readers the lowdown on the supply-side companies every purchaser should have on speed dial, and the Hotel Show Preview, Hotelier Middle East’s guide to the region’s largest hospitality exhibition.

There’s also a number of high-level interviews this month, including Six Senses president Bernhard Bohnenberger, Viceroy CEO Bill Walshe and Doubletree by Hilton global head John Greenleaf, and the magazine’s regular product guides, analysis and case studies.

“The September issue of Hotelier Middle East, and especially the Power 50, is always exciting,” said deputy editor Crystal Chesters. “The team debates the list for months, and when it goes to press the excitement starts to build as we wait for the industry to respond.”

So in addition to its regular 13,000+ print readers, 1,300+ digital edition subscribers, 1,700+ app users and 100,000-plus unique web visitors, additional copies of the magazine are distributed to Hotel Show visitors.
