Betsy Cordova Lopez has been appointed business development manager at the Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel in Dubai.
A Peruvian national, Lopez joins the team from Dubai Courtyard by Marriott, where she was part of the sales team.
Lopez previously worked in Canada, England, Spain, and Peru before moving to the UAE in 2013 as a trainee in the regional general manager’s office at The Address Downtown Dubai.
Lopez studied at the Swiss Hotel Management School, where she received an outstanding student award, and has also worked at Cordon Bleu and Peru’s tourism organisation – Prom Peru.
Commenting on Lopez’s appointment, Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel general manager Scott Butcher said: “We are confident that Betsy will add another dimension to the sales team at the hotel, ensuring the Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel can compete in new markets and communicate to both the travel trade and corporate world in their own languages when necessary.”
