Marriott International has added two more properties, located in Spain and Switzerland, to its Autograph Collection of independent hotels.
The hotels in Zurich and Barcelona are both set to open next year and each mark the debut for the brand in their respective cities.
Opening in spring 2015, the new 245-room Kameha Grand Zurich will be operated by Kameha Grand Glattpark Betriebsgeselleschaft mbH and feature interiors by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders.
Also opening around the same time will be The Cotton House in Barcelona, located in a 19th century building in the heart of the city centre formerly known as the headquarters of the Association of Cotton Manufacturers. It will have 83 rooms.

“We feel that these new locations in Barcelona and Zurich, with their prolific cultural heritage and sense of European sophistication, are a perfect fit for the collection.”
Kameha Grand Zurich will have 11 themed suites, including a ‘Poker Face’ suite with roulette and poker tables and a ‘Serenity’ suite featuring special lighting and select yoga and wellness accessories.
In July, Marriott International announced the addition of Atlantis, Paradise Island, the resort that was the forerunner to the property of the same name on Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, to its Autograph Collection.
