Accor has opened the first hotel apartments in the Middle East under the Adagio Premium brand, with an 83-key property in Doha.
The hotel opened on October 10 following the renovation and transformation of what was formerly the Dunes Hotel West Bay.
Adagio Premium Aparthotel West Bay Doha covers 21 floors and has a mixture of one and two-bedroom apartments with a surface area of 75 to 90 square metres each. The property also has well as a spa, fitness centre and swimming pool.
“As a high-growth destination for conferences and global events, Doha is an important, booming market for Accor,” said Accor vice president operations, Middle East Olivier Hick.
“The Adagio Premium Aparthotel West Bay Doha, is elegant, modern, ideally located and designed for an upscale market. All these features will meet the expectations of this city’s travellers.”
Earlier this week, Accor announced it would operate three hotels currently being developed in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and set to open by the end of 2018.
