The first GCC branch of US-based Chinese restaurant chain Panda Express has opened in Dubai, with a second set to launch in the emirate by the end of the year.
The casual dining brand has made its regional debut in Al Ghurair Centre, Deira, with an outlet that can seat 90 people.
Gourmet Gulf has the development and franchise rights for the brand and will open a second branch at The Walk, Jumeirah Beach Residence later this year.

“We are overwhelmed that people from various parts of Dubai who know the brand have visited our first branch and loved it,” said Gourmet Gulf executive chairman Sami Daud.

“We hope to reach out to more customers very soon with the opening of our second store in JBR.”
The menu at Panda Express features dishes such as orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, Shanghai Angus steak, kung pao chicken, broccoli beef, and chow mein.
