Many young Saudis choose Jumeirah, the Palm, Marina and Downtown as their preferred choice of stay as opposed to when traveling with families. The latter prefer to stay in Bur Dubai or Deira closer to shopping destinations like Dubai Mall, downtown, and the airport.
“I prefer this side of town. All I want to do is go watch movies, my wife and kids want to go to Dubai Mall and I prefer it as a family man. It is close to what we want and even the airport,” said 38 year old Saudi, Mahmoud Mohammad.
