For the third consecutive year, The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi is the Platinum Sponsor for the upcoming 10th Annual Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship.
From January 15-18, golfing heavyweights, such as four-time major winner Rory McIlroy and Germany’s three-time Falcon Trophy winner Martin Kaymer, will unite on the Peter Harradine-designed championship course at Abu Dhabi Golf Club.

The championship is one of the biggest events on the European Tour, and has taken place at Abu Dhabi Golf Club since its inception in 2006 as part of the Tour’s ‘Gulf Swing’.
In addition to the Platinum sponsorship, The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort will also sponsor the hole in one competition, with the winner entitled to a five night stay in the resort’s royal suite, worth AED650,000 (US $177,000).
The hotel will also sponsor a ladies’ day, with the winner to be treated to a stay at St. Regis San Francisco in collaboration with Etihad Airways.
