Swiss-Belhotel International Group plans to open 10 new hotels in 2015 in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and Iraq as part of its expansion strategy.
Vice president operations and development Noel Massoud said the operator recorded strong performances in Middle East in 2014 and hopes to continue building on the growth through 2015.
Massoud revealed the group has been in talks to open new hotels in Abu Dhabi as well as Riyadh, Makkah, and Abha in Saudi Arabia.
“The group is also considering a number of offers to manage and build new hotels in Dubai, which is considered as the most important tourism market in the region,” he added.
Masssoud also said the group would open a hotel in Muscat, Oman by the end of 2015, and is negotiating a hotel in Doha.
