US-based Innovative Dining Group's Hollywood concept Delphine Restaurant & Bar is set to open in The H Dubai this month.

With flavours from Southern California, Delphine Restaurant & Bar is scheduled to open in late January, featuring distinct restaurant, bar and lounge areas with velvet furnishings, art deco-inspired lighting and marble surfaces.

In keeping with the original West Hollywood location, Delphine Restaurant & Bar’s menu reflects fresh modern Californian bistro cuisine.

“We are excited to announce that The H Dubai will be the venue for Delphine Restaurant & Bar Dubai,” said Innovative Dining Group (IDG) founding partner Lee Maen.

He added: "We are always on the look out for major cosmopolitan cities where people like to go out, play and entertain and believe that Dubai is the perfect location in which to expand. We look forward to the reception from the city’s influencers and gourmands."

The H Dubai general manager Guy Bertaud said: "It is our vision to partner with the best of international dining concepts to continue to strengthen the property’s award-winning selection of dining destination and lounge venues. We are delighted to be the one bringing the Delphine concept to our signature dining outlet. We feel that the venue will capture the current focus on fresh, seasonal fare, in a rich comfortable setting that is perfect for a range of occasions."

This is not IDG's first outing in the region; Boa Steakhouse has already opened its outpost in the UAE, at the Eastern Mangroves, Abu Dhabi.

Innovative Dining Group operates 12 restaurants and lounges in Los Angeles: Sushi Roku (with locations in Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Pasadena), Boa Steakhouse (with locations in West Hollywood and Santa Monica), Katana in West Hollywood, Robata Bar in Santa Monica, Soleto Trattoria & Pizza Bar in Downtown Los Angeles, RivaBella in West Hollywood, and Delphine at the W Hollywood with two adjacent lounges: Station Hollywood and the Living Room.

The company also operates a Sushi Roku at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and another at the W Scottsdale. In addition, IDG has opened two concepts at LAX airport: B Grill by BOA Steakhouse in partnership with Areas USA, and Luckyfish in partnership with Star Concessions.
