Jannah Hotels & Resorts Group has appointed Lennart Maas as hotel manager for Jannah Burj Al Sarab ahead of its opening in Q2 this year.
The Dutch national obtained a bachelor’s degree from the The Hague, and has been in the hotel industry for several years.
Prior to joining Jannah Burj Al Sarab, he was part of the pre-opening team at Banana Island Resort by Anantara in Doha, Qatar.
Maas began his career in the food and beverage department of the Gleneagles Resort in Scotland. He then moved to the rooms division, front office, and housekeeping departments with Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
During his time with Starwood, Maas also participated in the group’s corporate leadership development programme.
Maas then moved to Abu Dhabi to join the pre-opening team at Anantara Eastern Mangroves as executive housekeeper. He also participated in the group’s leadership development programme.
