The five-star, 295 room hotel -- opened 11 May in the Salmiya district of Kuwait -- is home to one of the largest convention centres in the country.
Focusing on the MICE market, the property has 21 function rooms, a ballroom and over 6,000 square metres of function space with natural daylight. The hotel is gearing up to host business functions, conferences and weddings.
The Executive Lounge on the 17th floor with private meeting rooms and complimentary breakfast and refreshments will further appeal to the MICE segment.
Talking about the group’s aggressive expansion strategy in the MENA region, Ali Hamad Lakhraim Alzaabi, President & CEO, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels MEA said: “Over the next three years, we intend to operate 50 properties across the Middle East and Africa and the opening of Millennium Hotel & Convention Centre Kuwait marks an important milestone in our aggressive regional growth pipeline. The hotel will provide a significant boost to the city’s MICE market.”
