The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company has signed up to manage The Ritz-Carlton Jeddah, the operator’s second property in Saudi Arabia.

The hotel will be located on Al Hamra Corniche and will feature conference facilities to caterer to the local, regional, and international markets.

The property will feature 224 guest rooms, including 30 royal suites spanning 500m2 each. The hotel will also offer four dining outlets.

The hotel will offer 63,356ft2 of meeting space, and will be equipped to host major conferences and exhibitions within the Grand Auditorium, capable of seating 1200 guests.

The hotel will be operated by the group for the Ministry of Finance, building on the existing partnership with The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh.

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company president and chief operations officer Herve Humler said: “The opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah is a much-anticipated milestone for us as it not only introduces our signature standards in this growing market but also emphasizes our commitment to the Kingdom.

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company currently operates 88 hotels in Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and the Caribbean.
