InterContinental Hotels Group has opened the first Holiday Inn-branded hotel in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
The 90-room Holiday Inn Tabuk is located close to the city centre, and well connected to international highways to Jordan, Egypt, and Turkey.
F&B options at the hotel include all-day dining outlet Al Walima, a coffee shop, and the lobby lounge.
Other facilities at the hotel include 350ft2 of banquet and meeting space, which can accommodate up to 300 people, an outdoor swimming pool, a gym and fitness centre, and tennis court.
IHG chief operating officer, India, Middle East & Africa Pascal Gauvin said: “The opening of Holiday Inn Tabuk will be our 11th Holiday Inn in Saudi Arabia and affirms our continued dedication to enhancing the brand’s portfolio throughout the country. Saudi Arabia is a key market for us and through expanding our hotel offering we are catering to the country’s fast growing domestic travel industry.
“The new Holiday Inn Tabuk boasts a fantastic wealth of facilities for business and leisure travellers and we are confident that the hotel will offer a welcoming and comfortable stay.”
The property is the first hotel to be developed under the master development agreement inked between IHG and Saudi Arabia’s Dur Hospitality Compmany in 2014.
