Al-Baik Restaurant Al-Baik Restaurant

Saudi Arabia’s Al-Baik Restaurant, a fast food concept, was pushed to shut down four hours after it opened due to an unexpected number of customer arrivals; the consequent crowd, consisting thousands of customers, had queued to buy their iftar meals, Stepfeed reported.

There were reports of damage to the restaurant’s property earlier, which were later denied. Police officers and civil defense personnel were called in to control the situation and crowd.

The restaurant’s official account tweeted: “There is no truth in the news that damage had taken place during the opening of Al-Baik in Al-Qassim, and we’d like to clarify that we closed it down to maintain the safety of our customers.”

More than 40 years old restaurant is known for its broasted chicken and shrimp with a variety of sauces, and has more than 50 branches across Saudi Arabia.
