BIS Group held Owner Certificate Training’ for new Cafe Barbera franchisees from Saudi Arabia, with the aim to train franchise holders on how to set up and operate their new Cafe Barbera outlets.

BIS Group (Barbera International Services), is a provider of tailor-made services to the Middle East region’s hotels, restaurants and catering (horeca) sector and the logistics arm of Cafe Barbera.

The training was held at the company’s state-of-the-art training facilities in Dubai. The sessions covered all the essential elements of running a Cafe Barbera outlet — from setting up the business to its day-to-day operations.

The training was attended by new franchise owners including Khalid Al Otaibi, manager, Mosaediah Gate Trading Est. from Jeddah; and, Bader and Khalid Hawary, owners of the Bader & Khalid Hawary Group from Riyadh.

The workshop featured topics like operations, FOS system, barista training, customer service, staff management, food safety & hygiene, sales management and POS.

The sessions were facilitated by BIS Group CEO and founder Sufyan Al Muhaisen, Cafe Barbera Franchise (CBF) CEO and co-founder Enrico Barbera, CBF director of operations Dona Hurtado Rodrigue, CBF chief financial officer Elio Barbera, and CBF brand and marketing director Enrico Barbera Jr.

The training also included how to use new marketing and advertising strategies, particularly the promotion of the new branch via social media and the use of the new Cafe Barbera App.
